Dashboard Guide

The Parapet Security dashboard is your central hub for viewing, managing, and acting on security alerts.

Dashboard Overview

When you log in, you'll see the main dashboard with:

  • Statistics Cards - Quick view of alert counts by severity
  • Trend Chart - Alert volume over the past 30 days
  • Recent Alerts - Your latest alerts at a glance
  • Quota Usage - How many alerts you've used this month

The left sidebar provides access to all dashboard sections:

Quick Actions

From the Dashboard

  • Click any severity card to filter alerts by that severity
  • Click Recent Alerts → View All to see the full alert list
  • Click any alert row to view its details

Understanding Statistics

Severity Breakdown

The four statistics cards show current month's alerts by severity:

Color Severity Meaning
Red Critical Active breach or immediate threat
Orange High Serious threat requiring quick action
Yellow Medium Potential threat to investigate
Blue Low Informational or minor concern

Trend Chart

The trend chart shows your alert volume over the past 30 days:

  • Stacked by severity - See which severity levels dominate
  • Hover for details - Exact counts for each day
  • Spot patterns - Identify unusual spikes

Quota Usage

The quota bar shows your monthly alert usage:

  • Current usage / Plan limit
  • Resets at the start of each billing month
  • Upgrade plan if consistently hitting limits
